DMI, or Dynamic Movement Intervention, is a set of principles and techniques that rely upon automatic postural responses from specific positions to produce muscular strengthening and stability that would otherwise be impossible or very difficult.
These interventions create real and noticeable progress towards motor milestones, such as rolling, sitting, standing, walking, and more.

DMI is based in 3 well-established neurological principles: Neuronal Group Selection Theory (NGST), Neuroplasticity, and Maturational Theory. For more on these principles, check out our informational videos.
There have been numerous published case studies (scientific success stories) regarding the application of DMI. There are currently multiple research studies underway to study the effectiveness of DMI with patients of various activity levels, ages, and diagnoses.
